Day 1 Delhi
Welcome to Delhi.
Flight to Leh. Transfer to hotel for overnight stay.
Day 2 Leh
Sightseeing tour of Leh city including the 17th century palace and gompa.
- 3505 m above sea level, Leh is the capital of Ladakh with Zanskar River flowing through it and white snowcapped peaks surrounding it. The cold desert area has the ruined Tibetan style palace of Leh and can be said to be one of the Central Asia's most beautiful and panoramic city. Its Tibeto-Buddhist culture can clearly be seen in its colorful gompas and the lifestyle of the people. Some of the most beautiful treks and hikes in India can be found here. The other highlights of the region are Namgyal Tsemo Gompa and the Sankar monastery with its modern Tantric murals.
Day 3 Shey
Visit the Shey, Tikse, and Hemis Gompas.
Day 4 Stok
Sightseeing tour of Stok Palace and Spitok Gompa.
Day 5 Likir
Sightseeing tour of Basgo, Alchi, and Likir Gompas.
- 52 km from Leh, Likir monastery is the highlight of Likir. Founded by Klu-Kkhjil in the 11th century, the present building of the gompa belongs to 18th century and sports huge clay images of Buddha, old manuscripts, a rich collection of thankas, old religious and domestic costumes and religious implements. Camp at Likir.
Day 6 Yangthang
Trek over Pobe la (3,550 m above sea level) to Yangthang.
Day 7 Yangthang
Trek to Rizong Gompa and back to Yangthang.
Day 8 Ang
Trek over Sermanchan la (3,750 m above sea level) and Lago la (3,750 m above sea level) to Ang.
Day 9 Wanlah
Trek to Temisgang, then over Bongbong la (3,630 m above at sea level) to Khaltse, then by jeep to Wanlah. Camp at Wanlah.
Day 10 Lamayuru
Trek from Wanlah over Prinkiti la (3,725 m above sea level) to Lamayuru.
- About 125 km of Leh, Lamayuru is known for the oldest and splendidly set 10th century Lamayuru monastery. It is said that Lamayuru was once a lake, and its waters receded up the mountains to leave space for the monastery on blessings of a lama. However, it is in in ruins now and only its main hall with numerous tankhyas has survived the rigorous climate over such a long period. Lamayuru also has man-made caves carved out of the mountainside.

Day 11 Leh
Return by jeep to Leh.
Day 12 Delhi
Morning flight to Delhi.
Transfer to hotel for overnight stay.
Day 13 Delhi
Sightseeing tour of Old & New Delhi.Delhi - The capital of India, Delhi has been centre of political turmoil since 13th century. The day includes a visit to the Yogmaya Temple, the temple complex of Laxmi Narayan, the famous Chattarpur Temple and the Bahai Temple, also known as the Lotus Temple. Raj Ghat in Delhi, the cremation site of Mahatama Gandhi, Father Of India, is much like a sacred temple to every patriotic Indian heart too. Enjoy a bit of astrological predictions and findings in the evening at Old Delhi, after which you are free to do shopping and relax. Ride a cycle rickshaw through the crowded streets of the markets of Chandni Chowk Bazaar to Jama Masjid, the largest mosque in India in Old Delhi. In New Delhi, you can visit Dilli Haat, best place to look at Indian handicrafts and drive over the Rajpath, the site for Republic Day Parade of India to India Gate, a tribute to the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for their nation. You can see the President's House from outside and visit the 16th century Humayun's Tomb, Safdarjung's Tomb and Qutub Minar.
Transfer to airport for flight to onward destination.
