Goan toddy (sap from the coconut palm) to leaven the bread. The Goan version
of the Ramayana narrates that Lord Rama was kidnapped as a child and was
brought up in the village of Majorda. The key feature of the beach is that
it is not as much crowded as the other beaches of Goa. The beauty of the
beach is intoxicating and being there is an utter delight. Accommodation is
no big issue at Majorda. The Majorda Beach Resort is a five star deluxe
hotel and provides with all the basic amenities. But it should be kept in
mind that the hotel may prove to be a bit expensive. No worries for those
who want to keep their budgets low. There are guest house that offer cheaper
accommodation. There are even private houses offered by their owners.

further. For those who want to feel the soft sands beneath their feet,
enjoying the rustle of waves at the same time, is beach volley ball. Or one
can also enjoy making sand castles which is no less fun.
